ABOUT THE WEAVING DEPARTMENT AT
MYERS HOUSE & BARN
The
Weaving Dept. is located in the Myers House, a Palladian style
Victorian house that is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. Five rooms on the second floor are filled with an enormous
variety of imported and domestic yarns. Weaving classes are also
taught here on Harrisville and Schacht looms.
Come
to the adjacent Barn and find great discontinued yarns at a 50%
discount or learn to spin yarn on an Ashford, a Louet
or a Schacht spinning wheel. Knit faster on a Silver Reed or a
Brother knitting machine. Our classes will show you how.

The Weaving Dept/Myers House is in Florissant
on Dunn Road, the access street on the north side of I270. Use
exit 26B. From north on I170 use exit 9c and continue north on
Hanley Road. The Myers House is the third business from the intersection
of I270 and Hanley Road. We're on the second floor. For additional
